Workshop Terms & Conditions
Our classes range in ability level from total beginner to "Beading Whizz" and cater to a very wide range of tastes and styles. Don’t be put off by something that looks complex but you adore, you’ll get expert guidance and you WILL come away with a new skill; push your creative boundaries and try something new! You also have even more flexibility by being able to choose your own colours and options on the day! Below is the process you will go through when booking a workshop at Bojangle Beads:
- Enquire about your class, have a chat with us and make sure it's for you
- Book and pay for your class in-store, over the phone, or via the Online Store. This will include a "Project Voucher" towards the cost of the materials on the day. We implement this system so that you are not constricted by our style or taste, and you can choose exactly what you want for your project.
- Come along on the day! If you have a beadmat, bring it along, if not, we have them for sale at £1.35. You will be presented with your Ingredients list and written instructions for the day, and greeted with a cup of coffee and biscuits! Chris or Katy will then give you a quick synopsis of the project and guide you on choosing your options, i.e. helping you on colour combinations and special additions.
- Make your project! You'll have a laugh as you're working, we have some great people on our classes and there's always a great, positive and creative atmosphere. You'll also be offered more tea and coffee than you can drink and more biscuits than you can eat as you work, we like "flicking the kettle on"! Chris or Katy will have explained the system of keeping your barcodes and writing down your non-barcoded items in order to settle up at the end, so don't worry about coming to the till other than for weighing a glass mix or getting some cord!
- Settle up. When you've finished your project (or not, but are being forced out of the door with a cattle prod!), bring your barcodes and list of tray items to the till where we ring all your materials up. We then deduct the value of your voucher from the total, and you simply pay the difference. Sometimes, on rare occasions, you may not have spent-up on your voucher value. This means that you can choose any products in the shop up to the value of the voucher, but this must be done on the day. We cannot transfer any remaining credit to another voucher, workshop, gift voucher or store-credit.
Drop-in Sessions:
On a Tuesday morning, we offer a drop-in session for those of you that have started a project, but desperately want to finish it with a little bit of guidance from our tutors. We have to stress that this is not a taught workshop, we only offer guidance and a friendly ear, but sometimes that's all you need! The name is slightly mis-leading in that we ask that you don't just "drop-in", but book ahead as with all other classes. We can sometimes accommodate you if you happen to find yourself at a loose end at short notice, but to avoid disappointment, you're best to book in, as places are limited in the workshop area.
Cancellation Policy:
Please note that in order to obtain a full refund or transfer to another workshop you’ll need to give us a minimum of 14 days notice prior to the workshop date. This enables us to offer your place to another person. In the event of you being unable to attend a workshop within the 14 days prior to the workshop date, we will be unable to refund or transfer any money paid, as it will be much more difficult for us to fill a space on the class within this time frame.
