Beading wire and thread are required for different types of beadwork:
- Tigertail & monofilament are used for stringing beads into necklaces, bracelets, and other stringy bits
- Craft wire is available in different materials and thicknesses
- KO thread is higher strength & prewaxed alternative to Nymo thread for beadweaving
- Memory wire is beadable wire that springs back into its original shape, be that a bracelet, an necklace or a ring
Wire can be measured in two main ways; American Wire Gauge (AWG) or millimeters (mm). Below is a conversion chart for checking AWG against mm and vice versa. Highlighted and underlined values are the sizes we stock:
